The Club Crooks, DJ Izm & Easter Egg are proud to announce that we will be having Portland's own, DJ Matt Nelkin as our guest for the evening of Saturday May 22, 2010 @ Crown Room in the Old Town/Chinatown sector of PDX.Collecting records since '94, Matt has established himself in the city as host to the radio show Liquid Beat on KPSU since back in '97, airing on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm and on Eugene's KLCC from 11pm-1am on Saturdays. Also.. 3.5 years ago Matt played an integral role in the coordination and music selection as one of the Rock Box DJs (at Holocene) on a monthly basis. Last year, Matt released a 12' vinyl EP alongside Rock box DJs, Dundiggy & DJ Kez full of excellent remixes that are very club worthy.
After last months highly successful April Club Crooks at Crown Room with Baltimore Club legend, DJ Scottie B & Seattle's Tigerbeat, we take it back to a local focus on Portland party rockers, where Izm, Egg, & Nelkin will annihilate the dance floor with certified club bangers, Hip Hop classics, Crunk, Hyphy, and of course Baltimore Club. This will be a no cover event. we hope to see you!
